By using Proofreader Studio, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

2. Services Provided

We provide AI-powered proofreading analysis, error detection, and exportable results (CSV/XLS/online). Services are provided "as is" without warranties.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You represent that you own the rights or have permission to upload any documents.
  • You agree not to upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you submit.

4. Payments & Pricing

  • Services are charged on a per-document basis.
  • Larger documents may be billed per page.
  • Document re-runs are billed at 50% of the original price.
  • All sales are final; no refunds are offered.

5. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of all documents you upload.
  • We do not claim rights to your work.
  • We grant you a limited license to use our service output for personal or professional purposes.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, error detection, uptime, or suitability for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Proofreader Studio and its affiliates are not liable for any damages (direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive) arising from use of the service.
- By using the service, you waive your right to bring legal claims or lawsuits against us. Any disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Illinois, United States.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Proofreader Studio from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion if users violate these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or arbitrator, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
